Fall 2017 Semster

As the semester is slowly coming to an end, I would like to wish everyone Good Luck on their final and I'll see you guys in the spring for one last semester.

ROTC Bulldog Battalion

The ROTC Bulldog Battalion would like to wish everyone a Happy Holidays as they celebrate 70 years of excellence. The ROTC Battalion here at SC State is compared to West Point in producing the best and the brightest officer within the ranks of the United States Army. With 20 General Officers in the Hall of Fame the Bulldog Legacy lives on.

Picture Day

When we were all in elementary school everyone parents looked forward to picture day. Parents would make sure your hair was cut/done and that you had on a pair of clothes with the tags freshly removed but as we got older we got too "old"  for picture day. In college theres one day we all look forward to and thats graduation of course but taking pictures for graduation has to at least be in the top five day. The day has rolled around students are being offered a free, yes I said it "FREE.' photoshoot with Cap and Gown and you know there's better then free to a college student

Civic & Club Night

SC State took on Morris College in Smith Hammond Middleton Memorial Center, where the Bulldogs came out on top. Defeating Morris College 100- 91, as the school celebrated Civic and Club Night in the memorial center. This being the second home game and the first of win of the season, the Bulldogs are not at an overall record of 1-7 on the season. With the Middle Eastern Atlantic Conference still up for grabs, the Bulldogs still have a chance to end the season on a positive note.

Miss Univsere

Kara McCollough from our very own University represented the United States of America in the Miss Universe Pageant. McCollough made it to the top ten competing with over 60 other women from countries across the globe. In the end,  Miss South Africa, Demi- Leigh Nel Peters stuck out above the rest taking home the crown but we are still proud of you Kara.  If you didn't get a chance to catch the pagenant of tv, attached is a link to the full pagenant, (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eX8U7GV4z58)

Ford Drive2 Greatness

The results are in and the winner of the Ford Drive2Greatness competition is Southwestern Christian College. Well Bulldogs we win,some we lose some even Micheal Jordan lost a couple of games but he's still considered the greatest of All of Time. Congratulations SCC!

SC State Stands with Claflin

Tragedy has struck Claflin University on numerous time over the course of the past few years. Most recently, Senior, Dravious Terry was shot and killed by his roommate. Andrew Sanders Jr.  Students of Claflin university have left this earth early on occasions such as car accidents and drunk drivers.Terry is another student who won't get the chance to walk across the stage. SC State stands with Claflin University as they mourn the loss of another student.
