HBCU Marketplace

The HBCU Marketplace sponsored by Under Armor took place in College Park, Maryland. It gave HBCU students the chance to network, grow professionally and develop themselves as future members of the workforce. Over twenty different HBCUs were in attendance schools such as Clark Atlanta, Virgina State, Cheynee, and so forth. South Carolina State University was the only HBCU out of the seven school in of South Carolina to attend the marketplace. The marketplace consisted of forums such as mock interviews, resume building, and Q&A with some of the Companies in attendance. The final day students go the opportunity to attend a career fair that consisted of companies such as NerdWallet, Under Armor, Home Depot,  CIA, etc. This was the first time in three years SC State was apart of the experience.
